Darkness is setting in the clock on the wall going off reminding right away it was around 6:45. I open my door slowly stepping out on the porch. I glance left and right into the darkness of the surrounding woods that lead to the cemetary. The route I usually took when visiting, Bill Compton. I honestly miss that time period seems life was quite easier then. Alot less hurtfull thats for sure. I hadn’t heard from, Eric, in days. Atleast not after he dropped me here terrified beyond measure. What had happened to, Bill. He is something else now. I have never seen nothing like it in my life. And believe me. I have seen alot. Everyone seems to be in an uproar at the moment. And Jason hasn’t been the same since the elder fae zapped him hard. I can’t lose focus though. I got to remain strong. Even though it seems. I am some what alone. I honestly can’t remember when was the last time. I wasn’t in danger of any kind. I got to stay on my toes though. No, thanks to my ancestors that decided signing me over to this vampire, Warlow, for whatever crazy reason was the right thing to do. I walk down the steps to my old beat up yellow car climbing inside. I pull the door slamming shut. I am heading to Merlottes to talk with, Sam. I pause for a moment staring at the front porch with an image of Gran waving me goodbye. I sigh deepening my brows feeling my heart sink heavy. I slide the key in the ignition cranking it a couple times to start. I back out some turning to face road. The trees seeming to circle my car like creatures reaching out to take me driving into the darkness. I let out a sigh of relief seeing, Sam’s truck, next to his trailor pulling up to the bright neon lights of the Merlottes sign. I park as close to the front entrance as I can get. I step out slamming the door moving as quick as possible glancing about heading inside as the, Merlottes door closes behind me.
